THE STORY OF I APACHE EYE
I APACHE EYE (or IAE) began in the early year of 2004. beginning as a solo project started by Director Feline (a collection of early solo IAE recordings is coming soon!), IAE slowly added a 2nd member, Dr. Scrumptious. the first I APACHE EYE release (now that they were a duo they decided to launch a release to the stratosphere!) was the EP "the devil's got the blues", which was a huge success. albums that followed (like the fan favorite "Slow Death") have each brought the band farther and further into the realm of pop/rawk/noise experimentation, until the band finally added their 3rd member Remy in mid 2005. now a trio, the band released "STORM", their strangest work yet. they have recently released their 8th album, "Cobra", an album of larger size than any IAE album before it!
IN early 2005, Director Feline began a new solo recording career, eventually teaming up with the backing band the Space Order Collective while recording his 2nd solo release, "Desperate". now formed as Director Feline & the Space Order Collective, they have recorded a number of albums together! (see links page for the D.F. & the S.O.C. link!)
IAE has now returned to it's duo line-up (going back to D.F. & Dr. Scrumptious in 2006), and went on to release lots of new recordings! these new releases hitting the airwaves after the reformation of the IAE duo were "Cobra", the shorter album "Disco (Inferno)", "FEAR", and the newest wanna-be "epic" - "Wutevah"! throughout their still-growing life as IAE, they have always found a way to stay up to their old tricks - silly, serious, campy, poppy, noisy.....they never know what kind of album they're about to produce when they prepare to start a new album, and hopefully that - when compared to the "sound" of each release as they come out - can keep listeners happy and joyful, full of freeform fun, hardcore spirit, and actually openminded acceptances..........the future is somewhat bright for IAE, so come back here again when you can and keep track of the moving/forming/reforming sounds of I APACHE EYE!!!!!
