NEW ALBUM!!!: we here at IAE are VERY proud to announce the release of our long-awaited new album, "Wutevah"!!! of course, as all IAE happenings seem to be, this album is available as a 100% FREE download over at our good pals B&R Records (who can be found right on over here like: www.brrecords.com )!!! this new album is an 'interesting' step for us, and we really are happy about it's release!
SOME VERY SAD IAE NEWS: we're going to be taking a little break at this point here in the I APACHE EYE 'career' / 'story'. after recording / releasing a good number of albums for the past 3 years, there are some changes within the IAE world that is forcing us to take this break. we will be back really soon with more IAE goodness and silliness and lalala - we just need to get this new phase in our collective lives in order, then we'll be able to return to this! as for the near future, and since there won't ba any new recordings for a little bit, we will finally be releasing the 3 IAE releases that have sat on the back burner for so long. these releases are as follows (though not all release information has been worked out some of these):
I APACHE EYE "Don't Talk to Strangers" EP: we're going to be releasing this one first, most likely, as a little tiny mini-EP of sorts. this is, of course, the long-promised 'Children's' album we have mentioned working on a few times. since we never really got too far into it, it stands now at around 15 minutes or so. so, yeah - a mini-EP for this, which will OF COURSE be a 100% FREE download. that's just how we roll.....
I APACHE EYE "Christmas with the Losers" EP: this was something that was recorded for a label that never seemed to get off the ground. this is a sad thing to look back at 2004 (when this was recorded), and how excited we were for this to be released. in regards to the IAE timeline, this would have been released right before "Blood Magic", and this was the first foray into a more "band"-ish sound. we're really really happy to be seeing this finally get released sometime soon, and we may or may not wait until this year's Christmas Season to do so.......hmmmmm......we'll see....!!!
I APACHE EYE "'CRYSTAL WARRIORS' - Unreleased (2004)": now this one here is gonna be a big one! what this release is is a huge collection featuring every I APACHE EYE recorded prior to our first release ("the Devil's Got the Blues" EP). all of these recordings were done at a time that IAE was just a 'solo' project of Director Feline. including a few guest-stars, this serves as an archive of how the IAE sound / idea / format started, and then maybe we can follow it to now. or not.
